THE BIBLE

We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be the verbally and completely inspired Word of God. The Scripture is the final authority for faith and life, as it is God-breathed, infallible, and inerrant. The entire divine revelation of God to Man is contained in the sixty-six books that make up the Old and New Testaments.

GOD

We believe that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are three eternal, co-equal, and co-identical beings, possessing the same attributes and perfections. They are of the same nature, power, and glory.

JESUS CHRIST

  1. We hold the belief that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, took on human form while continuing to exist as God after being conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin named Mary in order to reveal God and atone for sinful mankind.
  2. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross in place of us as a representative, sacrificial, atonement offering, and that His literal, bodily resurrection from the dead ensures our justification.
  3. We profess the conviction that the Lord Jesus Christ ascended into Heaven and is now seated as our High Priest in the place of honor at the right hand of God where He performs the offices of Representative, Intercessor, and Advocate.

THE HOLY SPIRIT

  1. We believe that the Holy Spirit is a person who convicts people of their sin, their righteousness, and their judgment. He is also the supernatural agent in regeneration, baptizing all believers into the body of Christ and dwelling within and sealing them until the day of redemption.
  2. We believe that He is the divine Teacher who helps Christians comprehend and apply the Scriptures, and he teaches that it is everyone's right and responsibility to be filled with the Spirit.
  3. We believe that every believer's spiritual abilities are bestowed by God in a sovereign manner. In a special way, God empowers pastors, teachers, and evangelists to equip believers in the congregation to carry out the work of the ministry.
